To sum up: story of my life. That’s how you end up being a swing when you’re just supposed to be doing tech on shows. >_>

This was totally me on Sunday. Actually, though. SO amazing to see Legally Blonde, you guys were stellar.

This is truth.
“Are you okay?”
“Um, bit dizzy, the room’s spinning and I don’t think I can stand for very long.”
“Go home!”
“No, no, it’s fine, I can still take notes… I’m not dead yet!”

Willingly.
With no regrets.
And love every second of that show.

A little different when you’re in theatre school, but the same idea.
Appendicitis, stuck in hospital: apologise for missing class/rehearsal. “Stop apologising, dammit, you just had surgery!” ” I know, but we have finals coming up!”

Most exhausting choreography ever. Not to mention I was already fairly skinny. If I were a girl, this would be a really good thing…

This is NOTHING to complain about. I’ve done a few heavy dance shows (Grease not being one of them… we didn’t dance much in Grease… not REALLY, not the girls… not that I noticed…only at the dance, and even then, it wasn’t THAT intense), and I’ve never lost more than MAYBE 5-10lbs while doing a show (and that’s more from forgetting to eat than from anything). My cup-o-jealousy runneth over. Seriously.

This makes me happy and sad at the same time.
Happy: Beautiful photo, happy kissing people, stellar clothing on said happy kissing people.
Sad: I wanna person I be happy with and kiss… it’s been too long. It’s not enough sometimes to just have one or the other (although, no complaints about that, to be fair).

I was talking to my big black friend about the show Hairspray and she told me that she would love to be Tracy, but said “I don’t think it would work if I said ‘I wish negro day was every day!’” I cracked up. But really it does suck.

STORY OF MY LIFE
I wanna be Motormouth in Hairspray and Sarah in Ragtime… and I’m whiter than printer paper. -_-”

Back in high school, this is EXACTLY how I felt in English class. Seriously, guys, it’s not that hard to grasp the ACTUAL meaning from the context. -_-”
Speaking of Shakespeare… I really gotta rememorise Viola’s monologue from Twelfth Night… for Tuesday, haha.
“I left no ring with her: what means this lady?”
